Due to the superior construction of the Staub cocotte lids, less humidity can escape during the cooking process. The self basting system consisting of distributed spikes over the whole inside flat lid ensures a continuous natural basting cycle for moist and nutritious meals. Enamelling process includes 2-3 coats, inside and out. Black matte enamel interior coating, creates a non-stick surface with natural use & provides the ideal surface for braising, roasting and caramelizing. Oven Safe up to 500°F. Nickel steel knob. Returns or Defective claims on items more than 30 days from purchase will not be accepted. No products can be returned without receiving an RMA # (Return Material Authorization) from customer care. Non-defective returns will be subject to a 25% restocking charge. All RMA freight costs are the responsibility of the customer. Any unauthorized return or collect shipments will be refused at our location. Linen Plus will pass through all Manufacturer warranties, where applicable, to the customer.
