Key Features
100% Long Staple Combed Cotton
Long staple cotton fibers produce a softer, smoother, and more durable yarn than standard cotton alternatives. The combing process removes short fibers and impurities, resulting in a cleaner, more consistent yarn that provides the soft, plush hand feel guests associate with premium hotel towels. Woven on Sulzer looms — known for producing tightly, evenly woven fabric — the Royal Suite Dobby White collection delivers consistent construction quality and enhanced structural performance across every towel.
Ring Spun Pile Loops for Superior Plush Softness
Ring spun pile loops are created by continuously twisting and thinning the cotton fibers to produce a smoother, denser yarn than open-end spun alternatives. In terry construction, ring spun pile loops create a noticeably softer, plusher surface — the tactile quality guests immediately assess when handling the towel. The Royal Suite Dobby White collection's ring spun pile construction delivers the enhanced plush softness and exceptional absorbency that define premium luxury hospitality terry.
Dobby Border with Zig-Zag Design
The dobby border with zig-zag design is woven directly into the towel structure rather than printed or applied, creating an elegant decorative detail that enhances bathroom presentation. The zig-zag pattern provides a refined, visually distinctive finishing element that signals premium quality to guests before they touch the towel. The woven construction maintains the border's definition and elegance through commercial laundering, supporting consistent luxury presentation across the working lifespan of each towel.
The 2-ply ground warp uses two yarns as the structural foundation, creating the extra strength and thickness that distinguishes a premium hotel towel. Reinforced tucked selvage edges finish and secure the towel's lengthwise edges, reducing fraying and extending the usable lifespan through repeated commercial laundering cycles. Together, the 2-ply ground warp and reinforced selvage construction provide the long-term structural durability required for active luxury hospitality towel programs.
Spectrophotometer Shade Control · Embroidered Sewn-In Label
Spectrophotometer-controlled shade consistency verifies that every Royal Suite Dobby White towel matches the Bright White shade across production lots and procurement cycles — a meaningful quality standard for luxury properties managing large towel inventories. The embroidered sewn-in label adds a premium detail that reinforces the luxury positioning of the collection and provides guests a visible signal of the towel's quality tier.
Commercial Laundry Durable
Specifically engineered to withstand the repeated industrial laundering cycles of active luxury hospitality operations. The 100% ELS combed American cotton, ring spun loop construction, low-twist yarn, and 2-ply ground warp work together to maintain the towel's softness, absorbency, thickness, and structural integrity through commercial wash and dry cycles — preserving the luxury performance and appearance that guests expect across the full working lifespan of each towel.
Care Instructions
01Wash before first use.
02Use warm or cold water; avoid hot water on colored towels.
03Avoid fabric softeners — they reduce absorbency.
04Wash dark and medium colors separately.
05Tumble dry low; do not over-dry.
06Don't iron — it reduces absorbency.

Wash water temperatures will cause very little variation in shrinkage or color up to temperatures of 160°F.
Optical brighteners have been added during the finishing process to both the cotton and polyester. Normal alkaline wash conditions are acceptable (pH of 9–10) and the addition of an optical for the cotton in the wash cycle is recommended to help maintain the white shade over repeated laundries. Chlorine, peroxide, or sodium perborate bleach can be used in moderate amounts. In all cases, the pH of the fabric should be brought back to 5.0–7.0 pH range prior to drying.
The use of an optical brightener is not recommended on dyed shades because of the apparent change in color caused by this addition.
Drying can be in a tumble dryer or on a mangle. The fabric shrinkage has been stabilized during manufacturing by the use of resin finish for the cotton and heat stabilization for the polyester. Goods are heat set to a minimum of 350°F at the Easley, SC finishing plant.
Tumble dryer temperatures should never exceed 300°F. If drying in a tumble dryer, always use the cool down cycle prior to stopping the machine to prevent wrinkling.
Choosing towels finished in the United States ensures tighter absorbency consistency, better color quality, and reliable supply standards. For hospitality buyers, this translates into fewer product inconsistencies and longer service life — especially across hotels, resorts, fitness centers, and spas.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes long staple cotton towels luxurious?
Long staple cotton creates softer, smoother, and more durable towels with enhanced absorbency and comfort. Long staple fibers are longer than standard cotton, allowing them to be spun into a finer, stronger yarn that produces a softer terry pile surface. The combing process removes short fibers and impurities, resulting in the consistent yarn quality that provides the plush, absorbent hand feel guests associate with premium hotel towels.
