+ Full laundry care guidelines & PDF download
  1. Wash water temperatures will cause very little variation in shrinkage or color up to temperatures of 160°F.
  2. Optical brighteners have been added during the finishing process to both the cotton and polyester. Normal alkaline wash conditions are acceptable (pH of 9–10) and the addition of an optical for the cotton in the wash cycle is recommended to help maintain the white shade over repeated laundries. Chlorine, peroxide, or sodium perborate bleach can be used in moderate amounts. In all cases, the pH of the fabric should be brought back to 5.0–7.0 pH range prior to drying.
  3. The use of an optical brightener is not recommended on dyed shades because of the apparent change in color caused by this addition.
  4. Drying can be in a tumble dryer or on a mangle. The fabric shrinkage has been stabilized during manufacturing by the use of resin finish for the cotton and heat stabilization for the polyester. Goods are heat set to a minimum of 350°F at the Easley, SC finishing plant.
  5. Tumble dryer temperatures should never exceed 300°F. If drying in a tumble dryer, always use the cool down cycle prior to stopping the machine to prevent wrinkling.

Why American-Made Workmanship Matters

Choosing bedding finished in the United States ensures tighter color consistency, better quality assurance, and reliable supply chain standards. For hospitality buyers, this translates into fewer product inconsistencies, improved longevity, and alignment with American procurement preferences — especially in healthcare and government sectors.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is spectrophotometer shade control and why does it matter?
Spectrophotometer shade control uses precision colorimetric instruments to verify each production batch matches the approved Bone shade specification. This prevents the mismatched appearance that can occur when colors drift between production lots, ensuring every pillowcase across every order looks the same — critical for hotels managing large linen inventories.
What is the difference between the Standard, Queen, and King pillowcase?
The Standard (42×36") fits standard bed pillows. The Queen (42×40") fits queen-size and most hospitality-grade pillows. The King (42×46") fits king-size and oversized pillows. All three share the 42-inch width, 3-inch luxury hem, T-250 percale construction, and Bone colorway for coordinated presentation.
Why does the 3-inch hem matter in hotel pillowcases?
The 3-inch hem is the visible finishing detail displayed at the top of the pillow when placed against the headboard. A wider, precisely stitched hem is a recognized quality indicator in upscale hospitality bedding — guests associate a well-finished hem with premium product specification.
Are these pillowcases suitable for commercial hotel laundering?

Key Features

60% Combed Cotton / 40% Polyester Blend
The cotton-rich 60/40 blend delivers the natural softness, breathability, and comfortable hand feel of combed cotton alongside the wrinkle resistance, dimensional stability, and commercial laundering durability of the polyester component. The pillowcase maintains its crisp percale appearance and comfortable feel through high-volume institutional laundering — a practical balance of luxury feel and operational resilience for active hospitality linen programs.
T-250 Percale with High Count Ring-Spun Yarns
The T-250 thread count in a percale one-over, one-under weave delivers a crisp, cool, breathable sleeping surface with a clean matte finish. High count ring-spun yarns are produced by tightly twisting fibers — creating a smoother, stronger yarn with a refined hand feel and reduced pilling tendency. The combination of T-250 percale and ring-spun construction delivers long-lasting softness that holds up through repeated commercial laundering cycles.
Spectrophotometer Shade Control
Advanced spectrophotometer color-matching technology verifies that every Bone pillowcase matches the specified shade across production batches and procurement orders. For hospitality properties managing large linen inventories, spectrophotometer shade control ensures pillowcases from one delivery match those from the next — preventing the mismatched appearance that can occur when colors drift between production lots without scientific verification. A critical quality standard for multi-room, multi-floor hotel programs.
3-Inch Luxury Hem Detail
The 3-inch luxury hem is the visible quality detail displayed when pillowcases are presented on the bed. A wider, precisely stitched hem signals premium bedding quality to discerning hospitality guests — a recognized indicator of upscale bedding specification. The consistent 3-inch hem across both Standard and King sizes creates a standardized presentation regardless of room category, supporting a uniform luxury aesthetic throughout all guest rooms.
Commercial Laundry Durability
Engineered for repeated institutional laundering in high-volume hospitality laundry operations. The 60/40 blend, ring-spun yarns, and percale weave maintain the pillowcase's Bone color, softness, dimensional integrity, and structural performance through the demanding commercial wash and dry cycles required in active hotel linen programs — supporting a cost-effective lifecycle and consistent linen availability across procurement cycles.
Made in USA by Thomaston Mills
Manufactured in the United States by Thomaston Mills, ensuring consistent quality control and reliable supply continuity for hospitality procurement programs. USA manufacturing supports predictable product quality across multiple orders — an important operational consideration for hotels and hospitality groups managing multi-property linen programs that require consistent bedding quality across all room types and procurement cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is spectrophotometer shade control and why does it matter?
Spectrophotometer shade control uses precision colorimetric instruments to measure and verify that each production batch matches the approved Bone shade specification within defined tolerance limits. For hotels managing large linen inventories, this matters because pillowcases from different production lots can have subtly different color tones without scientific verification — creating mismatched appearances across rooms. Spectrophotometer control prevents that drift, ensuring every Bone pillowcase across every order looks the same.
What is the difference between the Standard, Queen, and King pillowcase?
The Standard pillowcase (42×36") fits standard bed pillows. The Queen pillowcase (42×40") fits queen-size and most hospitality-grade pillows used in queen rooms. The King pillowcase (42×46") fits king-size and oversized pillows in king rooms, suites, and premium room categories. All three sizes share the same 42-inch width, 3-inch luxury hem, T-250 percale construction, and Bone colorway for a coordinated presentation across room types.
