Overview
Regulation first aid kits meet regulations required by the Government of Yukon; regulations change on a continuing basis. For the most current regulations, refer to Yukon Workers' Compensation Health and Safety Board. Requirements vary and are dependent on a number of factors including: maximum number of employees at the worksite (or per shift), location of the place of employment/industry, type of industry and potential hazards, proximity or travel time to a medical facility.
Unit boxes provide quick identification of first aid kit contents and maintain a neater, more attractive looking kit, and comes with standard bilingual "First Aid Kit" image; also available with custom image (minimum quantities required).
Each kit contains the following:
- 10 EA Benzalkonium Chloride (BZK), Antiseptic Towelettes
- 2 EA Compress Bandage, 10.2 x 10.2 cm (4" x 4")
- 2 EA Compress Bandage, 15.2 x 15.2 cm (6" x 6")
- 2 RL Comforting Stretch Bandage, 7.6 cm x 3.7 m
- 1 EA CPR Face shield, with one-way filtered valve
- 1 RL Crepe Roller Bandage, 7.6 cm x 4.6 m
- 10 EA Gauze Pads, 10.2 x 10.2 cm, Sterile
- 1 EA Infectious waste bags, 15.2 x 22.9 cm
